Terms and Conditions for Lawn Mowing Services

1. Acceptance of Estimate By accepting this estimate, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein. Acceptance of this estimate can be made through a signed agreement, verbal approval, or confirmation via email or phone.

2. Scope of Work This estimate includes lawn mowing services as detailed in the estimate. Services typically include:

  • Mowing of lawn areas specified in the estimate.

  • Trimming and edging of lawn borders (if included).

  • Blowing of grass clippings off sidewalks, driveways, and pathways.

Any additional services such as fertilization, aeration, lawn treatments, or landscape work are not included unless specifically outlined and agreed upon in writing.

3. Frequency of Service Lawn mowing services are to be performed on a [weekly/bi-weekly/monthly] basis or as otherwise specified in the estimate. The frequency is subject to change based on weather conditions, lawn growth, and customer preferences. Any changes to the service frequency will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms The total cost for the services provided is based on the size of the lawn and the frequency of service. The pricing structure is outlined in the estimate provided to the customer.

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of each service, unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment via credit card.

  • Subscription Payments: If a subscription or recurring service plan is selected, the customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon rate on a [weekly/monthly] basis, with payment due at the beginning of each billing cycle.

  • Late Payments: Any invoices that remain unpaid for more than 7 days after the due date may be subject to a late fee of 10% per month.

  • Adjustments: If additional services are requested outside of the original scope, the customer will be informed of any additional charges before work commences.

5. Service Dates and Times Lawn mowing services will be performed on the scheduled date(s) specified in the estimate. In the event of inclement weather (e.g., heavy rain or storms), services may be rescheduled at the discretion of the company. The customer will be notified if any changes are required to the schedule.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access to Property: The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the lawn areas to be mowed. Any gates or fences should be unlocked, and pets should be secured inside the home or in a safe area away from the worksite.

  • Obstructions: The customer must ensure that all lawn obstructions (toys, tools, furniture, branches, etc.) are removed before the scheduled mowing date. If the crew is required to move or work around obstructions, additional charges may apply.

  • Lawn Condition: The customer agrees to inform the company of any hazards or obstacles (e.g., rocks, low-hanging branches, or irrigation systems) that may affect the mowing service. The company is not responsible for damage to objects or systems that were not disclosed in advance.

  • Pets: For safety reasons, pets must be kept indoors or securely contained away from the work area.

7. Equipment and Property Damage While every care is taken to avoid damage to your property, the company is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or damages that occur to lawns, flower beds, or landscaping during service. If the customer is concerned about potential damage, we recommend marking sensitive areas or providing additional instructions before service begins.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling The customer may cancel or reschedule services with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of $25 or may be charged for the scheduled service.

  • Failure to Cancel: If the customer fails to cancel or reschedule and access to the property is not available at the scheduled time, a missed service fee of $25 will be applied.

9. Weather Delays In the event of weather delays (e.g., rain, high winds, or extreme heat), the company may reschedule services to ensure the quality and safety of the work. Customers will be notified of any scheduling changes. If rescheduling is not possible due to adverse weather conditions, a refund or credit may be issued for the missed service.

10. Service Guarantee The company guarantees customer satisfaction with each service. If there are any concerns or issues with the quality of the mowing, the customer must notify the company within 24 hours of service completion. The company will make reasonable efforts to address any issues at no additional charge.
Note: The guarantee does not apply if issues arise due to factors outside the company's control, such as extreme weather, unmarked obstacles, or damage caused by pets.

11. Liability The company will not be held responsible for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden items, unless the customer has specifically marked or disclosed their location prior to service. The customer agrees to assume responsibility for any damages caused by undisclosed or unmarked obstructions.

12. Termination of Service Either party (customer or company) may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice. If the customer wishes to terminate services, they must provide notice at least 7 days before the next scheduled service. The company may terminate service if payment is not received within the specified terms or if the customer fails to meet their obligations outlined in these terms and conditions.

13. Changes to Terms These terms and conditions may be updated or revised at any time by the company. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and the updated terms will apply to any services rendered after the change is communicated.

14. Privacy and Data Protection The company values your privacy and will only use personal information provided for the purpose of delivering services and communication regarding the services rendered. We will not share or sell customer information to third parties unless required by law.

15. Force Majeure The company will not be liable for failure to perform services due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, war, labor strikes, or government regulations.

16. Governing Law These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or the services provided shall be resolved first through mediation or arbitration, in accordance with the laws of [state or region], before any legal proceedings are initiated.

18. Severability If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms will continue to be in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement This estimate and the associated terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the company regarding lawn mowing services. No other agreements or representations are valid unless agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties.

By accepting this estimate, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above.
